Introduction to Trigger Point
Trigger Points can arise in any muscle and cause pain, weakness and loss of range of motion. Once these trigger points are found and deactivated, clients can often return pain-free to their daily activities. In this class we will learn how and where trigger points are most likely to develop, how to access and release them, and how to assist clients in preventing their return. The workshop includes lecture, question and answer time, and hands-on work to enhance your palpation and enable you to find trigger points. You’ll learn the simple yet elegant trigger point protocol, which you can use immediately in your practice to help reduce your clients’ pain and discomfort.
